In a minute I’m going to discuss a solar panel do it yourself solar system, but in the meantime, I have something else to share.

Right now, the price of energy is already through the freekin’ roof. And, we know that our current (nonrenewable) energy supplies are finite. They are dwindling. So, as the supplies continue to dwindle, what do you think is going to happen to the the already high price of energy? (Hint: We haven’t seen anything, yet.)

The shocking reality is most of the nations in the world have become enslaved to a global energy policy that makes no sense whatsoever. If you are waiting for the government to change things, you better not hold your breath.

The president of the USA in the late 1970′s tried to move us away from this insane energy policy and into the direction of solar and renewable energy. He had a vision for our future that would have put us n a far better place today, if we had stayed the course.

We didn’t stay the course; not even for a little while. The very next president came in and tore down the solar panels the previous president had put on the white house (that happened to be look quite a bit like the solar panel do it yourself solar system), and he dismantled the energy program that was going to move us to energy freedom by now. That new president was completely owned by the energy companies, as has been every president since him.

So where does that put us today? We are fiscally and morally bankrupt and teetering on the edge of the greatest depression yet. It didn’t have to be this way. It could be so different.

So, what are we going to do? What are YOU going to do? What are you going to do for your family and your children and grandchildren? What is to be your legacy for your family?

Here is what you can’t do: sit around on your duff and wait for someone to save you. That is unAmerican. How about doing something to save yourself? Who is going to prevent you from building your own solar panels that you can connect to your home and immediately reduce your energy consumption from nonrenewable resources?

You can keep adding to your solar array until eventually, you might get to the point where you are off the grid. Or maybe you will stay on the grid so you can get the power companies to pay YOU for excess energy that you sell them!

That would be awesome; wouldn’t it? Wouldn’t it be so good if you did not need to ever be concerned about black outs or brown outs, and to move your family in the direction of real self sufficiency? What is to stop you from starting a garden and eating some real food again, even as you are building your solar panel do it yourself solar system.?

The office may be among the largest users of energy in the home. Here are a few simple tips to help you be energy efficient in your office.

The office may be among the largest users of energy in the home. Here are a few simple tips to help you be energy efficient in your office.

#1 Plug everything in the office into a power strip.

Computers, printers, recharging stations, radios or televisions and even your light fixtures can be connected to power strips. At the conclusion of each day or each working session, turn off your various electronics but also turn off the power strip.

This can conserve a significant amount of energy since many electronics continue using power even when they’ve been powered down. Turning off the power strip eliminates energy consumption when the electronics are not in use. And only turning on the item when you have to use it saves power too.

Furthermore, many power strips are surge protectors, which offers the electronics protection from powerful electrical surges which is often caused by lightening and other factors.

#2 Passive Solar & Wind Power

Passive solar is the practice of using the sun’s energy passively For example, you can utilize the sun’s energy to heat the office in winter time by opening the drapes and letting the sun’s rays warm the office. In the summer you’d want to close the drapes to help your office stay cool.

The wind’s power can also be used to cool the office in the summertime by producing cross breezes. Open windows on opposing sides of the office to produce a path for the air current to flow. As the air passes through your office it can help it stay cool.

Fans are also a great help although they generally run on electricity, they are more cost effective cooling methods than air conditioning which could cost more than $500 a summer.

#3 Active Solar

There are numerous office products on the market today that use solar cells to maximize the sun’s energy. You can purchase laptop bags with solar cells to power your laptop. You can buy solar recharging stations and recharge all your electronics. You can even purchase solar powered electronics.

Finally, organizing the office for maximum ventilation can help it stay cool in the summer. If you have boxes piled and furnishings sitting on vents there won’t be any way for the cool air to flow into in the office. Clean house and reduce clutter for maximum energy savings.

There are numerous ways to become more power effective in your office. Utilize the power of the sun and the wind for cooling and heating and become wise about switching off and on the electronics when you will need them. Utilize just as much as you need.

Having a business requires a lot of electricity. Both individual electricity and also fuel based electricity. Look at all the energy it requires to operate your office equipment. All of the energy this took to get that case of paper into your office and all of the energy it requires to maintain your business running efficiently day after day. The good news is the fact that it is an easy task to reduce the impact your small business has on the environment. And doing these basic measures will even help you save money.

Here’s Tips On How To Minimize Your Small Business Environmental Effect:

1. Put all electronics on a power strip. Keep your electronics, like your printer and recharging stations, switched off when not in use and at the conclusion of your work day, switch off the power strip they are connected to. It’s a simple step that will save a lot of energy over the course of a year.

2. Recycle. If you’re like many business owners, even if you do the majority of your work electronically, you go through a great deal of paper. Recycle all that paper. Recycle the periodicals that you receive. Recycle the ink cartridges used in your printer. Plus recycle your electronics when you’re done with them. Computers, cell phones as well as your office furnishings can certainly be recycled. It is a much better idea than just throwing them away.

3. Minimize. Take a look around your office and at your procedures. Where can you reduce your consumption? For example, when you normally get up each morning and switch on your computer however don’t truly get to work for an hour, then you can certainly lessen your usage by waiting to switch your computer on. In addition, if you print duplicates of receipts for products bought on the internet, store these using a back up hard drive instead and conserve paper. Utilize the back side of paper that’s been printed on as scrap paper or utilize it in your printer.

4. Obtain repurposed products. You can buy restored electronics. You will save cash and you will help prevent functional equipment from ending up in the landfill. You can buy refurbished furniture too. And you’ll create a great home office from pieces bought at a flea market.

5. Buy Energy Star. Computers, printers, as well as lighting for your office at home can be energy efficient from the beginning. CFL light bulbs, compact fluorescent, conserve tons of money for you and are truly an environmentally smart practice. Based on Energy Star, if every American home changed only one light with the Energy Star light, we’d conserve enough power to light more than 3 million homes in a year, about $700 million in annual energy costs, and prevent 9 billion pounds of greenhouse gas emissions per year, comparable to the emissions of about 800,000 autos.

That’s some pretty considerable savings for one little light bulb. How many do you have in your office? Exchange each incandescent with a CFL and you’re making a huge impact. Choose energy star labeled goods and give yourself and the environment a head start.

Reducing your small business impact on the environment doesn’t require a big effort or even a huge based plan. It takes a few basic steps. Seize one item from this checklist now, implement this and make a difference.

Energy prices have risen drastically over the last few years, and are predicted to rise even higher over the next decade.

Energy prices have risen drastically over the last few years, and are predicted to rise even higher over the next decade. Alongside this people are increasingly searching for an alternative to nuclear power, so they can power their homes in a more environmentally friendly way.

If you want to reduce your CO2 emissions, then solar PV panels can offer a realistic alternative to nuclear power to power your home or office. Due to the huge reduction in energy bills, having solar power already installed in your home can add 1% to the selling price of your home.

Solar power also has far reaching financial benefits. To get solar power installed in your home or office requires only the purchase and set up fees, and will require very little maintenance once up. But the benefits are huge, including a massive reduction in energy bills, by giving you the means to produce your own power from the suns light and radiation.

Since April 2010 there is even more financial benefit to using solar power. The UK Feed-In Tariff (or FIT) is available across England, Wales and Ireland, and is essentially a cash back system. The tariff means that any home or business generating its own energy through solar power, will be paid for this energy even if they use it all themselves. You will also be paid above the average rate of utility companies since solar power is more expensive to generate than nuclear power.

The tariff allows users the chance to make 44.3p for every unit of energy you sell back to the national grid, and a further 41.3p for each unit you use yourself. This regulation makes solar power a very beneficial alternative to nuclear. Solar power can reduce your bills, reduce your CO2 emissions, and make money with very little effort, regardless of how much of your generated energy you use yourself.

Recent years have seen the cost of energy rise higher than ever before, and industry experts believe they will rise even higher. Out of all household expenses, heating and lighting is usually the most expensive bill people incur. This is an age when the public are more aware than ever before of their CO2 emissions and the environmental issue involved in using nuclear power.

When it comes to tackling the soaring energy prices of utilities companies, investing in solar power can offer a viable alternative. Solar PV panels use the sun’s light and radiation to generate energy to power your home or office in an environmentally sound way.

Energy bills are set to rise by up to 60% every year for the next decade, so there has never been a better time to invest in solar technology. Solar PV panels will cut your household bills significantly, allowing you to generate your own power. Should you decide to sell your house, installing solar power can add 1% to the final selling price.

A new tariff introduced in April 2010 has given solar users even more financial benefits. The tariff allows users to sell on any surplus energy their panels generate to the utility companies at a higher rate. So if you go on holiday, you can sell your unused energy back to the national grid, at the provisional rate of 36p per unit.

Installing solar PV panels on your home requires only a one off charge, for purchase and installation. The panels are very low maintenance and will significantly lower your household bills, CO2 emissions, and can even make you money when you don’t use all of the power you generate. There really is no better way to save yourself money on your household running costs.

Whether you are camping or other outdoor events, a number of things might come up and that is why people have many reasons have a solar panel battery kit. Some campers go on long adventures that last up to weeks or even months. Unless you mediate all the time, you probably have some internet work, music you want to listen, or other mobile needs to keep happy. Also if you are in an emergency situation.

Imagine all the possibilities with an RV trip and a solar panel battery charging system. You could go to those areas where it is very hard to spend a week because of the no plug in option, but with the solar panels, you could go anywhere. And these solar panels we are talking about have the ability to charge big RV batteries.

If you were to look for any solar panel chargers on the market, your best bet is to find the ones that are made for these types of conditions. The ones that are able to withstand the elements.

Considering the facts, it would be wise to read into the Extreme Base Camp Solar Kit. The reason for this is that with all the prices and the technology that it comes with. It includes two powerful 350 watt batteries that are weather and UV resistant. And it has built in temperature and power monitors.

This kit includes four Boulder 30M solar panels, each with 30watts of power, equaling a full 120 watts of solar power. These are highly efficient mono-crystalline panels, using the latest in solar technology. You also get the universal inverter, or UI which has a multiple plug-in for American and European plugs, and provides 400 watts continuous, and 800 watts of peak power for any electric device.

Also, you get a 3 watt powered LED light system kit and it has 4 included. They last more than 20,000 hours and are as bright as a 45 watt bulb. You can power with the DC plug into the battery system and you can also hang it with the 9 foot cord that comes along. It also has the wall charger, cigarette plug, and 4 long cords. The total for this massive solar panel battery charging kit is $2,219.95.

And to top it off, you can build up from this kit by adding more panels, batteries, and lights for more power and enjoyment. Plus you can add from each one of those. The possibilities are endless. The sherpa batteries work well as add-on and their are their solar panels which fold up and have their own case to carry.

The other solar solution might be strictly for your RV, if that is so. You will have to consider what you are powering, like a microwave, oven, and other media gear. You will want to look at 200-400 watts of battery and 120 watts from the solar panel at the very least. And this way, you will be able to have power at night while it charges in the day time.

Many people are turning to various ways of collecting the sun’s radiation in order to save money and save the planet at the same time. But how much energy do solar panels produce is a good question because people want to know if it would be worth it to have them installed on their houses. Unfortunately, panels used to collect the solar rays from the sun only use a fraction of what is out there waiting to be collected and harnessed for energy.

Homeowners typically have more than one solar panel installation done at a time because the more panels a house has, the more energy they are able to save. A solar panel collects the suns rays and turns them into energy that the house could use to generate power for several different appliances such as the heating units, the air conditioning units and some of the other electrical powered appliances. In addition, the heat from the solar panels will help to keep a house cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Technology in radiation and radon collection is not what it could be. What is collected through these panels is only a small part of what is passing through the earth’s atmosphere during the heat of the day. Many different factors are involved as determining how much of the solar energy each solar panel system will collect per day. Geographic issues, weather-related issues and the climate of the area where the house is sitting all play a role in the collection of the suns rays and the amount of the sun’s rays that are dispersed through the solar panels and then used throughout a house for energy purposes.

An aired climate is quite possible the best place for solar panels Canada because it will create more energy from the sunlight directly even on overcast days. Everyone knows that even on a cloudy day, the sun is still extremely hot and still producing its powerful rays so the solar powered panels will still be producing their energy at almost top levels.

It is a pretty simple procedure as to how a solar panel works. A solar panel is covered in many tiny separate cells which are conductors for collecting the sun’s rays as it is exposed to the sun outside on either a rooftop or specially designed panel. Each of these cells converts the sun into usable electricity, protons which strike at the surface of each solar panel and then the electrons are knocked into an orbit which releases the electromagnetic filed. The cells on the panels will pull these electrons that are freed in to a directional current and then the metal connections become the cell of electricity.

A measurement of solar isolation is the amount of how much each solar panel will receive on the surface. Naturally, the more solar energy a surface is exposed to, the more it can be converted into electricity and the more it will be able to help the planet and help the owners of the home save money. The use of alternative sources, especially solar panel insulations, is but only one way to gather the earth’s energy that is naturally free and roaming around the atmosphere to be harnessed for home consumption.

A homeowner could contract an alternative energy specialist to make sure they are getting the right solar powered panels for their needs. The customers are all different and so are their insulation needs, therefore the contractor chosen to do the jobs should be certified in alternative energy insulations. If they are part of an insulation association of alternative installers, all the better.

The question of just how much energy do solar panels produce for a homeowner is dependent on a couple of things. The answer is dependent on how much of the solar panel covers the room, geographical conditions and many other factors. However, solar panel insulations might be what a homeowner is looking for to help them lower their electric bill and help to save the planets resources in the process.

Solar panels Canada are becoming priority. It’s time for the world to invest in solar panels systems, we are all responsible for our carbon footprint and should be actively trying to live greener.

Everyone is facing the constant increase in electricity prices. The power producing companies consider it as their right due to higher fuel prices.

Income level is still the same and we have to pay extra electricity bill every month. This trend of rising electricity bills has worst influence on our lives. Because the amount we pay every month is out of our budget.

The cheaper energy resources are cheaper in production. But they cannot be installed in our homes. Only the government has an ability to utilize them. In this situation, one may think about generating your own electricity because necessity is the mother of invention.

If this is the case, then we will tell you in next few lines about how a magnetic electricity home generator works? How is it helpful in reducing your monthly electricity bill?

Magnetic electric generators have a lot of fame all around the world recently. People are worried about the increasing cost of electricity.

A magnetic generator is the best alternative energy resource. This can be easily used in your homes. A magnetic home home electricity generator uses its powerful magnets for generating cheap electricity.

Magnets have a very special property of polarity due to which it exerts enormous force. This force in return helps to turn heavy shaft of turbine for generation of electricity.

They have constraints of space, maintenance, initial investment. and other installation expenses. Where as the small home build your own generator are free from such issues.

Here a question arises that how a magnetic generator works to provide cheap electricity. Let’s look at its working in detail and see how it really does provide cheaper electricity

Everyone is familiar with the magnets and knows exactly what they are. We have examined the magnetic force they contain.

In similar fashion, the magnetic generator utilizes the repulsive forces of magnets. These magnets are assembled in a wheel spin like shape in order to create turbine and power production.

We have also learned the law of perpetual motion that is applied here as the turbine moves forever under its own thrust. This magnetic electricity generator can save you from the clutches of the exhorbitant electricity companies.

Once you use it you will enjoy its benefits throughout your life time and it will save you from paying the high electricity bills as well.

In other words, once you get the magnetic generator, you will certainly enjoy its benefits. Most importantly, special attention has been paid in designing it as environment friendly. It has very low sound that is why it does not contribute to noise pollution.

Government incentive benefits of utilizing solar power exist in many areas of the world, and are contributing to the growth of this earth friendly industry. The solar technology began with satellites and has spread to many public and private arenas. Japan pioneered much of the commercial and residential applications, followed by Germany and the United States. Government programs provide incentives, develop markets, and support the use of solar energy in many ways.

The current incentives in the United States consist of tax credits, tax relief or exemption, and grant money being available to encourage the installation of solar devices. The program is a federal one, but is often administered on the state and local level. Any taxpayer is eligible for tax credits. Grants are often limited to large projects, such as hospitals or schools, or to small business, but some localities have programs, administered through the social service agencies, for low income families who wish to use solar energy arrays for their homes.

The ‘cap’ or limit to the percentage of cost that can be offset by tax credits changes often, but the savings can amount to 30% or more of installation price. Sometimes the savings can be even greater when the federal, state, and local incentives are added together. Not all states or localities offer incentives, so you will need to investigate what is available in your area.

Tax credits are savings, in that they lower the tax liability of the taxpayer. Exemptions are up front savings, as when no sales tax is collected on solar components and services. The new energy system may be exempt from property tax assessment, too. Contractors, government officials, and tax experts can tell you what is offered in your region.

The government subsidizes solar energy projects when it awards grants, which do not need to be paid back, or underwrites low cost loans. These are repaid by adding the payments on to the monthly electric bill. Utility companies often have incentive programs of their own, and sometimes offer rebates on energy efficient appliances.

As the governments around the world line up in support of using of solar energy, the number of users will grow, expanding the market and making the technology ever more affordable. The recession has slowed the spread of solar power, but the industry is bouncing back as concern over greenhouse gases grows. It is estimated that the world could get more than half of its energy from solar power one day in the not so far off future.

An expanding market is more attractive to investors, and the economics of solar energy production should grow rapidly with the boost of incentives. This switch to solar power will relieve some of the burden on the conventional grid supply, and lower the price of electricity for all. The benefits of government involvement in this technology go far beyond the initial investment of tax monies, as all people share the world’s economy and environmental pollution consequences. When you think of energy gathered from the sun, whether you plan to use it or not, remember it is helping you and your planet.

Understanding the government incentive benefits of utilizing solar power may make you a fan of solar power even if you never use it anywhere but in your cell phone. This space age technology may help us save the planet and save money as well.

If your energy bills are getting higher and higher and you are finding it difficult to cope then you may be thinking of investing in an alternative power supply. There are now some cheaper ways to get renewable energies installed and you could be making savings quickly. You can now get lots of information on the internet and elsewhere about alternative energy solutions.

The momentum for changes in energy is also coming from the environmental movement. Climate change and environmental degradation is a concern for many people so organizations, governments and individuals are all trying to bring about change. Individuals are contributing to the fight against global warming by changing their energy use and using sustainable green energy, wind power, and clean supplies.

Before you invest in sustainable energy you will probably want to understand the potential savings. There are no accurate average figures for this as really there are no average households. Many factors change energy consumption and the gains from each technology. Therefore it is a good idea to use an online energy calculator. It will use your information to work out how much you can save by using different types of sustainable energy.

The two most popular forms of sustainable home energy are wind and solar power. There are advantages to both but the location of your house will probably be the deciding factor because the weather is so important. For example, to make use of solar power you really need many hours of sunlight each day.

The photovoltaic cells in solar panels need a lot of sunlight to generate significant amounts of electricity. Therefore they have to be placed in a location where they can take in as much of the light throughout the day as possible. For many years solar power did not represent good value for money to many people as the installation costs were very high. However in recent years the cost has come down a lot and so now the investment may be worth it for you.

When investigating wind power there are a couple of things to check out. Firstly you need to assess whether there is sufficient wind where you live to power a turbine. Also you need to work out how much power you will get from the size of turbine which you can afford and have space for. Just like solar power the up-front costs of wind power have come down a lot over the last few decades. The turbines are also more efficient and will make more electricity from the same wind.

One way households can reduce the costs of installation and start saving money quicker is to build and install the new energy technology themselves. Building solar panels from scratch is possible from items available online or in hardware stores. There are also kits which have all the parts and instructions but they are a little more expensive. It is also possible to build wind turbines but if you intend to install a large one it is better to get professional help. However micro turbines can be built and installed even by people who do not have building experience. If you wish to investigate the self build route then there is lots of advice on the internet.

Finding alternative energy solutions is important for all of us so that we can mitigate the effects of climate change and reduce energy costs for our households.
