As a resident of Southern California, there are really good rebates out there for things like solar hot water heaters and other things. Residential solar energy is a definite must in sunny regions of the country. I agree!

I hadn’t heard about a solar oven before. That’s an interesting concept. I’m really excited about the falling costs of solar energy. 2009 is supposed to be the turning point for solar, as far as cost per megawatt goes.

an either cheaper alternative would be to install a solar water heater which are more cost effective
